The Tensioning Bolt is a key component of the Tensioning Assembly, designed to thread securely into the Body Insert. When torqued using a standard 1/2″ box wrench, it enables precise adjustment of the cable’s length and tension for optimal performance.  The Bolt comes packaged with a Jam Nut.  Once the proper tension is established, the Jam Nut can be tightened against the face of the Body to prevent rotation (loosening) of the Bolt.  Most systems on the market rely on a chemical adhesive to prevent rotation.  We prefer a proven mechanical solution.
